Dallas County (Texas) Makes Public Records Available Via the Internet
- The Dallas County (Texas) District Clerk's Office has made public records searches available via the Internet. Users pay on a per-search basis for a variety of information. Previously, the information was available remotely only by dialing into the County's mainframe computer via a "900" number (at a cost of $1.00 per minute). The search page (and searches) are accessible for free. Limited results are also returned for free. Results are priced on a per-search basis. High volume users who opt to pay an upfront subscription fee of $75 subsequently pay a lower per-search fee (see below).
